HOW IT WORKS – DCTex LLC
HOW DCTEX OPERATES
DCTex follows a structured operational process designed to deliver Colombian textile garments to international business clients with clarity, control and efficiency.
Each project is managed through defined stages to ensure consistency, traceability and compliance.
STEP 1 — REQUIREMENT DEFINITION
The process begins with the client defining their product requirements.
This includes:
-
Type of garment
-
Quantities and volumes
-
Technical specifications
(materials, construction, sizing, finishes) -
Target timelines
DCTex reviews the information to confirm feasibility and operational scope.
STEP 2 — PRODUCT SOURCING IN COLOMBIA
Based on the defined requirements, DCTex identifies suitable textile manufacturers or suppliers within its Colombian sourcing network.
This step focuses on aligning supplier capabilities with the client’s technical and commercial needs.
STEP 3 — PRELIMINARY SUPPLIER EVALUATION
Once a potential supplier is identified, DCTex conducts a preliminary evaluation.
This evaluation includes:
-
Basic operational capacity review
-
Production capability alignment
-
Initial compliance assessment
This step reduces operational risk before production coordination.
STEP 4 — PRODUCTION COORDINATION
After supplier alignment, DCTex coordinates the production process according to the agreed specifications.
DCTex acts as the central point of coordination during this stage.
This includes:
-
Production timeline coordination
-
Volume control
-
Communication between parties
STEP 5 — DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT
DCTex manages the documentation required for both export and import processes.
This includes:
-
Export documentation
(documents required to ship goods out of Colombia) -
Import documentation
(documents required to legally enter goods into the United States)
Documentation is prepared in accordance with applicable trade requirements.
STEP 6 — LOGISTICS AND CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
DCTex coordinates both local and international logistics.
-
Local logistics
(transportation within Colombia) -
International logistics
(shipping between countries) -
Customs clearance
(process through which goods are approved by customs authorities)
DCTex acts as the central point of coordination during this stage.
STEP 7 — DELIVERY
Once customs clearance is completed, the goods are delivered to the client’s specified location.
This is typically managed as door-to-door delivery.
CLIENT INVOLVEMENT
Throughout the process:

The client defines requirements

DCTex manages execution
This model allows clients to access Colombian textile garments without managing sourcing, documentation or logistics directly.
